Previous Project: In May 2001, I've completed my final year
project involving the use of Java/CORBA?for implementation of a real-time
Petri Nets Controller for simulation and control of manufacturing
processes. The research findings of this project constitute part of the
E-manufacturing R&D work which are published in 2 international
conferences. Click here

Current Involvement: Currently, I am with conducting R&D in the areas of cognitive systems, data mining and artificial intelligence with applications in the field of Information Technology for national defence. Given the complex requirements of the domains in the various defence projects that I am undertaking, high performance and robust artificial intelligence techniques are needed. Thus, part of my current research also covers the use of parallel computing to build high performance cognitive systems.
Ph.D. Research: My Ph.D. research
project was completed in 2005 with the Electrical and
Computer Department of the National University of Singapore involving
applications of distributed hybrid computational intelligence. The research project was done in collaboration with
the Intelligent Transportation Vehicular System (ITVS) Laboratory of the
Department of Civil
Engineering to investigate multi-agent systems for intelligent traffic signal control.Email Me if you want to find
